If the body's organs function well and the immune system is healthy, then medications will work more effectively. Groene Os Drainage Compositum can be used to support the cleansing function of the organs. Drainage Compositum is ideally used after a course of medications and/or after surgery. Combined with a Magnesium citrate, Drainage Compositum can be used to support the joints.

Dosage and administration:

For internal use, unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian, begin by administering only 1/3 of the recommended dosage stated below:

• Horses and ponies: 30 drops twice daily.

Not suitable for:

Do not administer to animals with gastric ulcers, gallstones, closure of the bile ducts, diabetes, auto-immune disorders, cancer, and organ transplants. Do not give to weak or seriously ill animals, just before or after surgery, during pregnancy and lactation unless otherwise prescribed by your veterinarian. Detoxing uses up a lot of energy. This is why Drainage Compositum should only be used after the animal has fully recovered its strength.

Side affects:

During a drainage treatment, waste materials are released so organs can easily dispose of them. This can make animals feel a little bit tired or apathetic. Existing symptoms may worsen at the start of the treatment. Animal owners have noted that especially the 'weak areas' in their pets' bodies showed problems during drainage treatment. These often include skin, fur, eye or ear problems, or thin, slimy or smelly faeces. This is not uncommon as the body is merely getting rid of the toxins via the excretory organs. However, if the animal is becoming increasingly ill during the treatment, we advise you to stop the treatment temporarily and to contact a veterinarian about reducing the dosage.

When similar complaints occur for longer than 3-4 weeks (detoxing usually takes 2 weeks), it is advisable to contact a (holistic) veterinarian.
