Versele-Laga Oropharma Yel-Lux

Oropharma Yel-Lux is a supplement to your bird's food. It is a natural yellow colourant and enhances the yellow colour of the feathers. Feathers become colourful as they develop. The grown feather maintains its colour until a new feather is made. Birds change their feathers approximately once every year.

Administration and dosage

Yel-Lux is not soluble, so you need to mix it through the food. You can give 1 level measuring spoon (1 gram) per 100 grams of egg food. If your bird is already very yellow or if the food is already rich in colourants (rapeseed, fresh egg yolk) you only need to provide half the dosage (1 gram per 200 grams of egg food) starting at 2 weeks old.

• During breeding: provide daily from 2 weeks before the first egg is lain until after moulting
• During moult: give daily during the entire period
• Exhibition birds: give daily during the entire exhibition season.
