    Royal Canin Kitten

Around the age of 4 months, kittens' growth rate may slow down, but they become increasingly active. During this period, kittens need adjusted levels of the right nutrients to support the development of their bones, muscles, organs, immune system and nervous system. It is also not long now before they start developing 30 adult teeth.

Royal Canin Kitten is specially formulated to support the nutritional needs of kittens as they grow. This formula is suitable for kittens aged 4 to 12 months, a stage of life that is accompanied by significant physical and behavioural changes.

This tailor-made diet includes adjusted amounts of proteins, minerals and vitamins, tailored to meet the increased energy needs of kittens, and to support the growth of their bones and muscles. In addition, nutrients such as vitamins C and E support the development of a healthy immune system. These antioxidants have been shown to stimulate a greater quantity and faster increase in antibodies after vaccination.

Royal Canin Kitten is also enriched with omega 3 fatty acids (DHA) to support brain development and promote healthy vision. Thanks to a combination of prebiotics (MOS) and highly digestible proteins, Royal Canin Kitten also helps support a healthy balance of intestinal flora for proper digestion. The kibble shape is also specially designed for kittens' small jaws.

Did you know that kittens' nutritional needs change as they grow? At 12 months of age, they need food specifically adapted to the needs of an adult cat. This is why we recommend switching to Royal Canin adult cat products at that time.

Perfect to combine with Royal Canin Kitten in Jelly - Cat Food or Royal Canin Kitten in Gravy - Cat Food.
