Alpramil worming for cats is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic and is effective against tapeworms and roundworms. It can additionally be used to prevent heartworm disease.

Alpramil Deworming is available in 3 concentrations, so the right dosage can be found for every weight. To also treat small cats, the tablet with the lowest concentration, in this case the 4 mg / 10 mg, is divisible.

Indications

Treatment of infections with tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Echinococcus multilocularis)
Treatment of infections with roundworms: hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme) and roundworms (Toxocara cati)
Prevention of heartworm disease for 1 month, when concurrent treatment against tapeworm is desired

How to use Alpramil Deworming

Alpramil worming is given orally via the mouth. You give the tablet with or after some food. For a correct dosage, it is important to weigh your cat. Depending on your cat's weight, choose the right tablet strength.

Alpramil Small Cat is divisible

The 4 mg/10 mg tablet is divisible into two halves to ensure accurate dosing. To break the tablet, place the tablet on a flat surface with the break mark facing up and the rounded, convex side facing the surface. You then press with both thumbs on both sides of the tablet.

Dosage

The minimum recommended dose is a single oral administration of 2 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg of body weight.

Do not use with

Alpramil Small Cat 4 mg/10 mg tablet: do not use in cats weighing less than 0.5 kg and/or younger than 6 weeks of age.
Alpramil Medium/Large Cat 12 mg/30 mg tablet: do not use in cats weighing less than 3 kg.
Alpramil Large Cat 16 mg/40 mg tablet: do not use in cats weighing less than 4 kg.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients.
