Betadine solution
Betadine solution is suitable for treating shallow cuts and puncture wounds. It prevents and treats infections in small and larger wounds, as well as reducing subsequent scar tissue. It has a non-stinging formula, making it very animal-friendly. Diluted Betadine solution is used for cleaning and rinsing infected wounds.
Suggested use for Betadine solution
Apply Betadine solution to the wound and surrounding skin directly from the bottle, or with cotton wool/sterilised gauze. Wounds should be treated twice a day until closed.Tip
Take care when applying Betadine solution, as this is a thin solution. If it comes into contact with your clothes, dab the area with a piece of kitchen roll with vinegar (do not rub!) and then wash using your normal detergent.Betadine Scrub
Betadine Scrub is a mild disinfectant liquid soap without granules. It is suitable for disinfecting the skin and the hands. Avoid contact with open wounds, as this may delay healing.
