Bucas Sweet Itch Rug - Zebra

The Bucas Sweet-Itch Zebra Full Neck Eczema Rug is made from a specially developed material that offers protection from the smallest insects and therefore also from the Culicoides mosquito that causes sweet itch in horses. The manes and tail have been the focus in designing this rug. For example, the neck piece reaches up to the horse's ears and the tail flap is extra large. A removable elastic abdominal flap protects your horse's belly. The zebra stripes help protect your horse from flying insects. It is scientifically proven that flies are confused by this.

Use

Prevention is very important in cases of sweet itch. That is why it is smart to put the rug on before the start of the mosquito season.

What if the Bucas Sweet-Itch Zebra Full Neck doesn't fit?

The Bucas Sweet-Itch Zebra Full Neck can be removed from the packaging and held up next to your horse in order to check whether it fits. For hygiene reasons, the Sweet-Itch Zebra Full Neck cannot be returned if it has come into contact with your horse. If we find that the returned Sweet-Itch Zebra Full Neck is stained, worn, contains horse hair, smells or has been washed after use, we cannot return the product to you. In this event, it will be donated to a charity (local shelter). As we are often confronted with Bucas products that are returned in a less than new condition, we have to apply these rules for fitting and/or returning products.
