Tibetan
The Tibetan is a cat breed native to the Netherlands. It originated from a cross between a Balinese and a Tonkinese. This is how a semi-long-haired Tonkinese was actually created, which was eventually renamed Tibetan. The Tibetan is a spontaneous, playful, intelligent cat with a lively personality. It loves company, preferably people, but it also gets along fine with peers and dogs.
Characteristics
Character
The Tibetan is very spontaneous and has an open personality. They are incredibly sociable and friendly with peers and dogs. The Tibetan does not like to be alone at all. Tibetans regularly demand attention and can even be a tad demanding. The affectionate Tibetan loves to be in the company of people, especially its owner. This cat is also very suitable to be around kids. It likes to feel like a full member of the family and prefers to sit on your lap whenever possible. It is, therefore, ideally suited as an indoor cat. The lively, playful and intelligent Tibetan is a curious little cat and needs sufficient space to express itself. The Tibetan is very talkative and chatters away. Coat care is limited to a weekly brushing.

Head, ears and eyes
The Tibetan head is longer than wide and somewhat wedge-shaped. The snout is square, and they have a long nose, with a slight stop visible. Its ears are medium-sized and broad at the base. The tips of the ears are oval-shaped and point forward. The Tibetan has wide-set, oval-shaped eyes. The eye colour of mink Tibetans is aquamarine, with bright blue and sepia green/yellow points.

The Tibetan has a medium-long, silky coat. The coat is sleekly and not very dense, highlighting the slender build of this breed. There is no undercoat. The coat is shiny and very easy to maintain.
