    Chipsi Climate Floor

Just like people animals can be sensitive to dust. The Chipsi Climate Floor might be the perfect solution. This mat made from hemp fibres is practically dust-free and very absorbent. The mats are 100% natural and biodegradable. The Climate Floor is easy to use. Simply put the hemp mat in your pet’s enclosure. If it’s too large, you can simply remove a piece to make it fit the enclosure. The Chipsi Climate Floor is suitable for hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, mice and rats.

Chipsi Climate Floor reviews
  • Great stuff
By Richard, Friday 7 June 2024

Easy to use, easy to clean (as long as you keep on top of it), slightly expensive but...hey you pay for what you get.

  • Love this stuff.
By Richard Minard, Friday 6 November 2020

We love this stuff, it is soo easy to use and as long as you sweep the cage regularly (which you should be doing anyway), it lasts for ages. The only negative I can think of is that it is a little bit of a chore to cut to size, but that could also be classed as a positive as it shows how tough this stuff is. ????

  • Chipsi climate floor
By Paula, Sunday 28 June 2020

I have used Chipsi Climate floor for two years and my local supplier ran out during lockdown so searching the internet I came across Vetsend. It was reasonably priced and available, easy to order online and arrived within a few days. I use it in the bedding area of rabbits double hutch which is 25m sq over two floors. For some reason which I have never understood the rabbits do not mess on it and apart from a bit of digging at the pile it can be cleaned out, hoovered and replaced with fresh hay on top. I replaced the last lot after 6 months but I didn't need to do so really as it is reusable. I have now started to use it downstairs in the feeding area of the 17.5 sq. m. hutch and apart from the grass droppings which they re-eat anyway they again don't soil it. If it rains it soaks up water but it will dry out if left in the sun and its easy to remove and hoover. I don't put hay on top at present but I might do in the winter. I read in a review from somebody else that their rabbits didn't soil this matting which is another reason I thought I'd try it. I find it massively cuts down on the cleaning .

  • Not Quite What I Was Expecting
By Rachel Johnson, Saturday 25 November 2017

Well-cushioned and much less messy than straw but I've only had it a few weeks and the bunnies have dug up and chewed a fair amount of it. Was hoping for something I could wash and this is not it. Expensive for something temporary.
