Clix Car Safe Dog Seatbelt

Clix Car Safe seatbelt for dogs is a harness that allows you to keep your dog safe and comfortable in the car.

Safe, comfortable and secure

This dog seat belt, designed by Dr. Roger Mugford, combines safety and comfort. The inside has a soft neoprene lining with extra soft protection for the animal's chest. The Clix Car Safe harness is made of seatbelt-approved material. For extra strength, the harness is made from a single piece. Tests have shown that the clips can withstand tensile force of up to 1500 kg. The harness is also suitable for short walks. It will not strangle or pull at your dog's neck if it pulls. It is not yet mandatory in the UK and the Netherlands, however, dogs do have to be 'suitably restrained'. In Germany and Spain, however, dog seatbelts are compulsory. So please be aware of this if you are taking your dog on holiday there.

Snug fit

The ergonomic design of the Clix Car Safe dog seatbelt has two clips, which can be adjusted to ensure a snug fit. Fitting the harness properly means your dog will not be able to wriggle or slip out of it. There is a clip on either side of the belly strap in order to make it easier to put on and take off. The head opening is not adjustable in length. Since it is important that the seatbelt is a good fit, we have made the measurements for you:

XS: 30 cm
S: 38 cm
M: 51 cm
L: 60 cm

Fixing instructions for the Clix seatbelt

Put the seatbelt around the animal's head
Fix side buckles correctly
Fit the belly strap
The harness has a universal clip fitted so that it can be clipped directly onto most car seatbelts (do not force it). The harness can also be secured by pulling the fixed seatbelt on the backseat through a loop at the end of the Clix Care Safe harness.

What if the Clix Car Safe dog seatbelt doesn't fit?

To check whether or not the Clix Car Safe seatbelt fits your pet, you can take the item out of the package and hold it up next to your cat. This will allow you to see whether or not it fits. For hygienic reasons, this item cannot be returned if it has been in direct contact with your pet. Should we conclude that the shirt is stained, has been worn, is covered in hair, smells bad or has been washed once the item is shipped back to us, it will not be returned to you. In this case, the item will be given to a local charity. Unfortunately, we have to enforce these rules as we are often confronted with Clix Car Safe seatbelts that have been returned in a used condition.

Please note: The size table by dog breeds should be used as a guideline only. The suggested size may vary from dog to dog. The Clix Car Safe dog seatbelt is not compatible with Volvo vehicles.
