German Shepherd
The German Shepherd Dog is a medium-sized, well-muscled and powerful dog. It is a shepherd dog that, as the name suggests, originates from Germany. German Shepherds are very loyal to their handler but can sometimes seem a bit dominant, they are often used as police dogs, tracking dogs, guard and defence dog and avalanche dog.

Colour
The German Shepherd is found in three different types of coat: rough coat, long hair, long rough coat. The coat can be black, iron grey, ash or monochrome, with regular brown, yellow to light grey markings. A black deck is very common.

Approach to training
The German Shepherd is a good student and loves to learn and train together with his boss.
