The liver is without a doubt a crucial organ. It plays an important part in the digestion of nutrients, like fat. Many nutrients are stored in the liver, continuously supplying the body with energy.  The liver filters out toxins and produces important proteins that are essential for, among other things, blood and the immune system. Dr. Ann’s Liver Supports is a supplement for dogs and cats that supports the liver.

Recognising liver problems in pets

Liver problems are diagnosed by a veterinarian. There are many possible symptoms:

• Drinking and urinating a lot
• Loss of appetite or weight loss
• Vomiting
• Jaundice (and yellow stool)
• Abnormal stool (yellow stool)
• Fluid in abdominal cavity

How does Dr. Ann’s Liver Support work?

This supplement contains a combination of ingredients:

• Milk thistle extract (Silibinin) helps the liver recover. It increases the enzymes in the liver and supports the cleansing of the liver.  
• S-Adenosyl methionine (SAMe) is essential for the liver cells to function normally. SAMe supports the immune system.
• Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant. The liver uses a combination of antioxidants to protect itself.   
• Vitamin C scavenges free radicals and ensures a more effective use of Vitamin E.

How do I use Dr. Ann’s Liver Support?

Oral administration. It’s possible to open the capsule and mix the powder with (wet) food or a snack. It’s recommended to consult with your veterinarian before using the product, increasing the duration of the product or exceeding the recommended dosage. Dr. Ann’s Liver Support is not a replacement for a balanced complete food. Make sure your pet always had access to fresh drinking water.

Composition per capsule

S-Adenosyl methionine 200mg, Milk thistle extract 118,75mg, vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 30mg, vitamin E (D-α-tocopheryl acetate) 13,43mg. Additives (per kg): potato starch 250 g/kg, HPMC (140 g/kg; capsule shell), calcium (as Tricalcium orthophosphate) 36 g/kg, Silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent E551) 36 g/kg, olive oil 36 g/kg.
