Equi-BCAA

Equi-BCAA powder off Equipharma is a food supplement with an apple flavour for horses. The ingredients provide a rapid and complete recovery of muscles after strenuous exercise.

Equi-BCAA contains the essential amino acids leucine, isoleucine and valine. These are amino acids are not naturally found in the body, and must be provided via food. These amino acids play an important role in a variety of metabolic processes in the body.

In addition to these essential amino acids, Equi-BCAA contains L-carnitine. Recent studies have shown that L-carnitine is important for normal muscle function and general metabolism. L-carnitine is of greater benefit to high performance horses that have a higher demand for L-Carnitine in their metabolism, and helps with sprinting, endurance, jumping and hunting.

Dosage

Twice daily, 18 grams (= 1 scoop) for 3-4 days after intensive work, or whenever necessary.

• Vitamins: L-Carnitine, Vitamin B6.
