Groene Os Glucosamine Complex for Horse & Ponies

Groene Os Glucosamine Complex for horses and ponies is a food supplement containing various vitamins and minerals that can help build new cartilage and maintain healthy cartilage, contributing to improved condition of the joints.

Glucosamine Complex powder is used to support the musculoskeletal system of horses and ponies. For good condition of joints, cartilage, connective tissue, muscles, tendons and ligaments, it also contributes to proper formation of bone and joint lubricating fluid.

Dosage:

Food supplement for ponies and horses. Unless the veterinarian or therapist prescribes otherwise, start with 3 scoops per day.
Upon marked improvement, slowly reduce to the maintenance dosage of 1 scoop per day.
Moisten the powder or (concentrated) food to prevent it being blown out of the trough.

Do not use in:

There are no known illnesses or other (prescription) drugs with which Glucosamine Complex cannot be used.

Ingredients

Calcium citrate, magnesium citrate, glucosamine KCL sulphate, chondroitin sulphate (90%), Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane).

Key features of each ingredient:

• The main feature of Groene Os Glucosamine Complex (Special) is its ability to produce proteoglycans. Together with water, proteoglycans form the main components of synovial fluid. Problems caused by a lack of synovial fluid can therefore be significantly reduced. Movement is easier, and increased movement helps the metabolic rate of the joints.
• Glycosaminoglycans constitutes the basic structure of cartilage, formed by, among others, glucosamine and chondroitin. Chondroitin also contributes to an increase of hyaluronic acid, which acts as a lubricant in the joints.
• MSM supplies the main sulphur compounds necessary for collagen and keratin production, and the reconstruction of cartilage.
• Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is essential for the production of connective tissue and cartilage, and also inhibits the degradation of glycosaminoglycans.
• Calcium citrate and magnesium citrate are easily digestible and used as building blocks for bones and joints. Connective tissue also makes use of calcium citrate and magnesium citrate.
• Magnesium contributes to muscle relaxation.
