Groene Os Solidago Complex for Cats & Dogs

Groene Os has made a change to their tinctures to improve taste acceptance.

Groene Os Solidago Complex can be used to assist in the treatment of bladder and kidney conditions in cats and dogs. It has a regulatory effect on the urinary tract which can help treat small kidney stones or urinary crystals and bladder stones, stimulates drainage and urine production, has anti-inflammatory properties, and has a diuretic effect (promotes the formation and excretion of urine).

Composition:

p]Ethanol 51,51% v/v, Glycerin, Solidago virgaurea (goldenrod), Arctostaphylos uva ursi (mountain grape), Betula pendula (birch), Echinacea purpurea (red sun hat), Orthosiphon stamineus (cat moustache), Hydrastis canadensis extract (Canadian turmeric), Berberis vulgaris (cranberry), Uncaria tomentosa (cat's claw).[/p]

• Solidago provides a good moisture balance and is therefore good for kidney and urinary tract function.
• Orthosiphonis supports kidney function.
• Uva ursi supports the environment in the bladder.
• Betula helps fight against bacterial infection.
• Barberry and Hydrastis have a synergistic effect.
• Uncaria and Echinacea increase the resistance of the bladder.
• Cantharis is used to assist with urination.

Do not use in animals with:

Chronic kidney disease, unless prescribed by a veterinarian. Do not use in auto immune diseases. Do not use during pregnancy and lactation, unless prescribed by a veterinarian.

Dosage for cats and dogs:

• Dogs and cats < 10 kg: 5 drops, twice daily
• Dogs 10 to 25 kg: 7 drops, twice daily.
• Dogs > 25 kg: 12 drops, twice daily.

The drops should ideally be administered outside of meal times. Drops can be soaked into to a piece of meat or bread and administered in that way. The composition of the dog & cat variety and the horse & pony variety is identical, only the contents of the package are larger because the daily dosage for a horse is often considerably higher. You can safely use the larger package (100 ml) for your dog or cat.

Use over a course of 6 weeks. Depending on the results, the treatment can be extended. After every 6 weeks of use, insert a stop week.
