Urinary tract problems in dogs
Urinary tract disorders in dogs can cause pain while urinating, as well as blood in your dog’s urine and potential blockage of the urinary system. Problems of the urinary system often go hand in hand with the formation of stones and crystals in the urinary tract; struvite is such a crystal. Struvite is formed when urine is saturated with magnesium, ammonium and phosphor and when it has an alkaline pH value.
Excess weight in dogs
Excess weight, or even a little bit of extra weight, can lead to severe health issues in dogs. An unhealthy weight can have consequences for the playfulness and mobility (higher risk of joint issues such as arthrosis) of your dog, but can also have an effect on the life-time overall health.
