Product Description
Hill's t/d - Dental Care - Prescription Diet - Feline
Hill's t/d Dental Care diet food has been specially developed for cats with dental problems and also contributes to oral hygiene and care.
Dental problems:
Plaque and tartar is formed along and under the edge of the gums. Because your cat can not brush its own teeth, the formation of tartar can lead to periodontal disease, causing the gums, teeth, and supporting tissue to soften. Hill's t/d Feline is clinically proven to reduce the build-up of plaque and tartar. The kibble contains no mineral abrasives or active chemicals. They are most effective when given after the teeth have been professionally cleaned. Other care methods, such as brushing the cat's teeth, are recommended.
Hill's t/d Feline - Key Features
- Clinically proven to help reduce the development of tartar, plaque and stains
- Hill's t/d Prescription Diet Feline contains an elevated level of aligned fibres in a special fibre matrix. Thanks to a larger kibble size, the fibres can wipe the teeth clean before they break. This combination of fibre size and kibble shape allows the teeth to be cleaned as the cat chews on the product.
- The modified protein content in the diet helps to reduce the supply of the building blocks of plaque.
- The calcium content is also adjusted, reducing mineralisation, the leading cause of tartar build up.
- Magnesium and phosphorus are also present in an optimal quantities, and the diet consequently results in a urinary pH of 6.2 to 6.4, supporting the health and function of the urinary tract.
- The added superior antioxidant formula in Hill's t/d Feline helps to neutralise free radicals and supports the health of the teeth.
- The diet contains no mineral abrasives or active chemicals.
