Kidney complaints or disorders are common in cats. Both young and older age cats may have kidney problems. Disorders in the kidneys can be kept under control for a long time with the help of treatment by a veterinary practitioner. A nutritional diet is often part of the treatment.
A cat with kidney problems often have poorer appetite and can therefore become very picky in deciding what to eat. Usually these cats accept wet food. It can be quite a hunt for what your cat likes. Fortunately, Vetsend has put together the Taster Pack Kidney Diet. This pack contains 10 different types of wet food with kidney diets of Royal Canin, Hill's, Specific, TROVET, Sanimed and Calibra in different flavors. With small portion packs, you can introduce your cat to different types of food. This way you will find out what she likes best.
Recommendation: To increase the smell and taste of the wet food, warm the food or dilute with warm water.

It is a great idea to have a trial box of renal food as cats can be very fussy about what they eat. My cat seemed to like most of the products in it, having refused to eat renal food a few years earlier.
