Why is playing important?

When a horse is in his paddock or stable all day, he could get bored. A bored horse could develop some nasty habbits like chewing and kicking. You can prevent this by giving your horse some distraction. Think of a salt lick or a play ball. Give your horse something fun to play with and he can be entertained all day long.
