NAF GastriAid

NAF GastriAid of NAF Equine is a nutritional supplement specially designed for horses and/or ponies with sensitive digestion. The supplement protects the animals from the effects of daily stress and protects the stomach lining.

The mix of ingredients in NAF GastriAid supports the maintenance of normal acidity levels in the stomach, promotes intestinal peristalsis, and regulates and stabilises intestinal flora in a natural way. This supplement has a preventive effect against indigestion.

NAF GastriAid supports digestion and helps prevent feelings of unease. It helps the horse to feel comfortable, and the animal will exhibit less stressed behaviour, such as restlessness in the stable, air sucking, cribbing, dull coat, unwillingness to work, or irritability when bridled.

Use

Horses

• High dose: 120 grams per day = 6 scoops daily. This starting dose may be given for 3-10 days.
• Maintenance dose: 60 grams per day = 3 scoops per day. The maintenance dose may, be adapted to the needs of the individual horse, independent of its weight.

Ponies

• High dose (3-10 days): 80 grams per day = 4 scoops per day. This starting dose may be given for 3-10 days.
• Maintenance dose: 40 grams per day = 2 scoops per day. The maintenance dose may, be adapted to the needs of the individual pony, independent of its weight.

One 25 ml measuring scoop contains about 20 grams. A bucket of 1.8 kg given in a daily amount of 60 grams is sufficient for approximately 30 days.

Composition

Psyllium seeds (as powder), calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, alfalfa (dried at high temperatures), rapeseed oil (refined), brewer’s yeast, yeast products*, oligo-fructose, inulin from chicory (FOS), sodium chloride, calcium stearate. *Yeast, sources of MOS (Mannan oligosaccharide) and postbiotic yeast metabolites.

Additives

Binder: Bentonite-montmorillonite clay.
For digestion: Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Storage

Store sealed in cool, dry place at room temperature.
