NAF Superflex 5 Star

NAF Superflex 5 Star of NAF Equine is a food supplement for the maintenance of healthy, flexible joints in horses. Superflex 5 Star contains a high concentration of essential substances for the production of articular cartilage and synovial fluid, to support joint function.

Superflex 5 Star is recommended:

• For horses and/or ponies who need additional support for the tendons, ligaments and joints.
• For horses or ponies from middle to old age.
• For young horses and/or ponies and foals that are prone to joint problems.
• For prevention in sport horses.

The Superflex 5 Star has a unique composition based on natural ingredients including glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin sulphate, which are proven to be important for the joints. In addition to these important nutrients for joints, this supplement also contains a unique combination of natural ingredients that act as antioxidants.

Everyday the body experiences wear and tear. In response, the body produces more toxins which can cause greater damage. Antioxidants remove these unnecessary, harmful toxins from the body. This prevents the aggressive substances from accumulating around the joint, and allows the glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin sulphate to have the desired effect. The various ingredients work together to help to reduce stiffness, and support the function of joints.

NAF Superflex 5 Star is available in two forms:

• Powder
• Liquid

Both forms operate identically and are just as quickly absorbed into the body. The chosen form is pure personal preference.

Uses

Administer a daily dose for the support of smoothly operating joints, especially in competition horses, young horses or for maintaining healthy cartilage.

NAF Superflex 5 Star liquid for horses and ponies

• Initial dose: 50 ml per day. The initial dose may be given for 3-10 days.
• Standard maintenance dose: 25 ml per day.
• Low maintenance dose: 15 ml per day. The maintenance dose may be, adapted to the needs of the horse or pony, independent from weight.

A 1 litre package given in a daily dose of 15 ml per day is sufficient for approximately 66 days.

NAF Superflex 5 Star powder for horses and ponies

• Initial dose: 25g per day = 6 scoops daily. The initial dose may be given for 3-10 days.
• Maintenance: Horses: 13 grams per day = 3 scoops per day. Ponies: 8 grams per day = 2 scoops per day. The maintenance dose may be, adapted to the needs of the horse or pony, independent from weight.

1 scoop of 5 ml contains about 4.2 grams. A bucket of 1.6 kg given at a daily dosage of 13 grams is sufficient for approximately 120 days.
