The Pavo GastricEase is a high-fibre muesli that stimulates chewing. This is essential for healthy digestion. Fibre is important for your horse's digestive health because it encourages him to chew. During the chewing process, your horse produces saliva containing bicarbonate, which neutralises acid. This is beneficial as stomach acid can otherwise damage the sensitive upper part of the stomach.
