Horses naturally have a complicated digestive tract and a sensitive stomach. Sometimes it may be necessary to give the stomach extra support. Pavo GastriCover has been specially developed to promote healthy stomach function. It helps to neutralise stomach acid through the added maerl (calcified seaweed). Maerl has a long-term and gradual effect which ensures that stomach acid is neutralised gradually and in even amounts.
The additions of prebiotics and probiotics support digestive and intestinal health. The prebiotics (pectins) have a protective function against stomach acid and support the growth of good bacteria in the intestines. The probiotics improve the digestibility of food and support the stabilisation of intestinal flora. Live yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) has been added for this purpose.

Application

For intensive support, the recommendation is to feed Pavo GastriCover for at least three weeks. It is suitable to be fed permanently in a lower dose as a regular part of the ration for general support. During stressful periods it may be given as long as the horse experiences tension. Mix the Pavo GastriCover with your horse's regular feed. Preferably divide the daily amount of feed over several portions per day (2-3 portions) and mix the Pavo GastriCover through this. In this way, the ingredients that support the stomach are continuously provided to your horse.

Dosering

Intensive support[/br] Give 3 x daily servings:

• Pony (300kg): 3x daily 60 g = 180 g per day
• Horse (600kg) : 100 g three times a day = 330 g per day

General support
Give 2 x daily servings:

• Pony (300kg): 50 g 2x daily = 100 g per day
• Horse (600kg): 2x daily 100 g = 200 g per day
