Many horse pastures are seeded with grass seeds for cattle. However, these types of grass are less suitable for horses. Horses need more texture and less protein. Grass for horses needs to be able to resist trampling and be able to withstand the way in which horses graze. Pavo Horse Grass Seeds is completely adjusted to horses, making it ideal for a beautiful horse pasture.

Use

A horse pasture can be sown from April until the end of September. For resowing you will need 45-60kg/ha. Extremely small plots need more grass seed, so closer to 60kg per hectare. For re-seeding, 30kg/ha is sufficient. The horse grass seeds have a shelf life of 24 months. The grass seeds can still be used 24 months after the production date, but the germinating power of the seeds will decrease from then.
