Horses that spend a lot of time in the paddock or pastures or by eating roughage can ingest too much sand. Too much sand can cause a sand build-up, making it important to regularly support the removal of sand from the intestines. Pavo SandClear contains psyllium hulls that have a supportive effect on the removal of sand from the intestines. When psyllium hulls come into contact with intestinal fluid, it turns into a sticky gel. This gel attracts dirt and sand and causes it to be removed from the intestines.
If there is sand in the intestines, it can have a negative impact on digestion. Pavo SandClear not only supports the removal of sand, but the product is also enriched with prebiotics. These prebiotics promote the growth of good intestinal bacteria. It also contains other ingredients to support healthy digestion.

If research continues to show that there is sand in the manure, the advice is to give Pavo SandClear for a week according to the feed recommendation. It is important to check the manure for sand again after this week. Should it appear after examination that sand is still present, the advice is to give Pavo SandClear again for a week. Keep repeating this until examination shows that sand is no longer present in the manure.
As maintenance, the advice is to give the Pavo SandClear once a month for a week according to feed advice.
The Pavo SandClear can be mixed with the regular feed or with slop. If the Pavo SandClear is given in slobber or other soaked feed, the advice is to add the Pavo SandClear only just before feeding.
