Pavo SpeediBeet

Pavo SpeediBeet is a fodder that supports intestinal health. It is made of unmolassed sugar beet pulp, is starch-free and very low in sugars (5%), which makes it ideal for horses prone to laminitis. The flakes are processed using a patented heating process which allows it to be prepared quickly, in approximately ten minutes, by soaking it in either cold or warm water. This makes Pavo SpeediBeet a healthy, tasty and easy feed for all horses. It is considered a fodder feed and does not contain any additional vitamins or minerals. If Pavo SpeediBeet is the only other feed given besides roughage, it is recommended to give supplementary vitamins and minerals, such as Pavo SummerFit.

Preparation

Mix one part (dry) SpeediBeet with three parts water. Mix well and leave for a maximum of ten minutes before it is ready.

Feeding tip

As Pavo SpeediBeet contains little sugar and no molasses, horses often have to get used to the taste. Mix SpeediBeet with normal concentrate feed during the first few days, or add some Pavo SlobberMash to it. You can then reduce the amount of other feed after a few days.

Please note: Pavo SpeediBeet can only be given after it has been soaked. Do not feed dry! Store in a safe place and make sure horses do not have access to it, even if they manage to escape their stable.
