Pavo - WeightLift

Do you have an older or lean horse and could it use some healthier body condition? Then Pavo WeightLift is the ideal feed! Some horses lose weight faster or their muscle mass decreases. Unfortunately, feeding extra concentrate is then often not the solution. Pavo WeightLift can help then. It is free of grains, molasses, soy and beet pulp, but high in fibre and protein. You can feed this feed both dry and cultured.

What's in it

The high content of essential amino acids and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids provides your horse with all the essential building blocks it needs for good condition and muscle development. It also contains high-quality protein from alfalfa and energy from natural and highly concentrated rice bran which again improves body condition.

Starch

Even if your horse is sensitive to high levels of sugar and starch, and your horse may therefore be emaciated, this feed can support your horse in recovering condition. The starch in this feed does not come from grain but from rice bran, which is why the feed is grain-free. As starch from rice bran is digested more slowly, it has a more limited effect on blood glucose levels.

Other information

This food consists of a small fibre-rich kibble, mainly due to the large amount of alfalfa. The high fibre content supports overall digestion. If you feed it dry, it ensures that your horse has to chew well and therefore produces saliva: a natural buffer for stomach acid. It also contains brewer's yeast, which has a positive effect on intestinal flora.
