Product Description
Phytonics Gluco Balance horse
Phytonics Gluco Balance horse can be used in cases of a disturbed (sugar) metabolism and/or energy metabolism in horses and ponies. The product is a food supplement which ensures that the receptors are more sensitive to insulin for more efficient glucose intake. It also works by regulating the liver, which plays an important role in (sugar) metabolism.
Damage to blood vessels
Damage to blood vessels is a complication which can be cause by a disturbed glucose metabolism (excessive glucose content), causing the amount of reactive oxygen in the blood to greatly increase. Phytonics Gluco Balance horse therefore contains antioxidants and immune stimulants.
Indications
- Disturbed (sugar) metabolism
- Animals with excessive weight
- In case of excessive consumption of fructosamine from English ryegrass
- Older animals
Dosage and application:
Unless prescribed otherwise by a veterinarian/therapist, twice daily:
- Pony: 0.75 scoop.
- Horse: 1 scoop.
After the first week, reduce the dosage to once daily. 1 scoop contains about 8 grams.
Administration:
Phytonics Gluco Balance horse can be given with regular food. Moisten the powder so that it is not blown out of the trough. During pregnancy and lactation, consult a veterinarian before use. If the animal loses weight, halve the dose or stop if necessary.
Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the treatment duration will be relatively short. This may vary from a few days to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, you can continue administering this product for a few more days. For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. It is advised that you insert a stop week every 6 to 8 weeks. The stimulus can be reintroduced after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if symptoms worsen. This product can be given indefinitely.
Please note:
At the start of the treatment, some animals may have a short-term deterioration of symptoms or other adverse reaction. In the event that the symptoms worsen considerably, you can halve the dose or stop temporarily and then build up slowly.
