Phytonics L-Lysine Horse

L-Lysine by Phytonics is a food supplement that supports animals with a weakened immune system. L-Lysine has collagen-forming properties, which are important for the growth and repair of tissue. It also has strong calcium-absorbing properties. Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C are catalysts for the absorption and intracellular effect of L-Lysine.

Dosage and application:

(Unless otherwise advised by your vet) Twice daily:

• Horse 3 scoops
• Pony 2 scoops

1 scoop contains approximately 4 grams.

Please note: For administration during pregnancy or lactation, always consult your veterinarian. At the start of the treatment, some animals may have a short-term deterioration of symptoms or other adverse reaction. In the event that the symptoms worsen considerably, you can halve the dose or stop temporarily and then build up slowly.

Administration

Can be mixed with your pet's food. For dry food, moisten the food/powder so that is not blown out of the trough. For administration during pregnancy or lactation, always consult your veterinarian.

Treatment duration

In an acute situation, the treatment duration will be relatively short. This may vary from a few days to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, you can continue administering this product for a few more days. For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. It is advised that you insert a stop week every 6 to 8 weeks. The stimulus can be reintroduced after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if symptoms worsen. This product can be given indefinitely.
