Procanicare from Ecuphar contains Proccanius®, a complex of 3 live bacterial strains of the type Lactobacillus. These bacterial strains are derived from healthy dogs and support your dog's digestive system. Your dog's intestinal flora can become unbalanced due to antibiotics or an exciting event, for example. Procanicare helps to rebalance the intestinal flora

For which dogs is Procanicare suitable

If your dog changes food or if your dog is given antibiotics
If your dog experiences tension while travelling or staying in a kennel
Older dogs or dogs with sensitive digestion
Pregnant or Lactating females for healthy intestinal flora

You sprinkle the powder over your dog's food or dissolve it in the drinking water

How long do you give Procanicare to your dog

How long you give the Procanicare depends on your dog and the circumstances:

7 days when changing food or when there is an exciting event, such as travelling or staying in a kennel
30 days for digestive problems, a course of antibiotics, pregnant/Lactating females or for dogs staying longer in the kennel
Long-term therapy: continuous administration is possible. However, it is sufficient to give 4 treatment courses of 30 days per year

In cases of gestation and lactation, you may give 2 treatment courses of 30 days with a short break in between.

Store

You store Procanicare refrigerated (<8°C, do not freeze). You may store it at room temperature, between 8 and 25°C, for up to 6 months. Short periods without refrigeration do not adversely affect the product. After opening, use the product within 3 months and close the jar immediately after each use.

Composition

Maltodextrin, calcium carbonate. Additives: Proccanius® (Lactobacillus fermentum NCIMB 41636, Lactobacillus plantarum NCIMB 41638, Lactobacillus rhamnosus NCIMB 41640). Fermented in pasteurised milk, total minimum 3x1011 CFU/kg.
