Puur Omega-3 can be used for skin and coat problems such as excessive shedding, sensitive skin or as a standard supplement to maintain healthy skin and coat. In addition, the liquid supplement supports the joints and contributes to smooth movability. Puur Omega-3 provides the daily omega-3 requirement of dogs and cats.

Benefits of fish oil

• Unsaturated fatty acids keep the cells supple and stable, due to their curved, flexible chains, as opposed to the stiff, straight chains of saturated fats. Once in the cell, they stretch the cell wall until it becomes elastic, allowing improved transfer between cells.
• Immune-enhancing: the flexibility and elasticity of the cells also improve the barrier function of the skin.
• Omega-3 is converted into different substances by certain enzymes in the body, including EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid).

Administration

The capsules can be given directly in the mouth or over the food. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, because the product works better if it is absorbed through a clean oral mucosa.

Composition per capsule: fish oil 1005 mg of which EPA 330 mg and DHA 220 mg., vitamin E (d-alphatocopherol) 5 IU.
