Puur SME Lotion

This product is used in horses and ponies during the mosquito season. In hot weather with high mosquito activity, this product can be used more frequently. Summer Eczema is caused by the culicoides Robertii mosquito. This mosquito is active from March to October. Horses with sweet itch are allergic to the saliva of this mosquito. This causes a hypersensitive reaction if they are bitten, causing a terrible itch, which leads to rubbing. This itch often gets worse with every season.

Dosage and application

Unless prescribed otherwise by a veterinarian or therapist: The optimal dosage is to lightly spray the affected areas or apply with a sponge 1-2 times daily. When there is a consistent improvement, gradually reduce to once daily or every other day, until the affected areas are healed and the animal has stopped rubbing or itching. Shake very well before use! Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if your horse/pony is sensitive to any of the ingredients. For external use only.

Spray the lotion preferably in the morning and/or evening when mosquitoes are most active. Also make sure that your horse/pony has access to good quality food and water. If there is no improvement during treatment or symptoms persist, we recommend that you consult your veterinarian. Please note Puur SME lotion may stain upholstery.

Composition

An extract of Artemisia abrotanum, Artemisia absinthium, Calendula officinalis, Caryophyllus aromaticus, Citrus paradisi, Curcuma xanthorrhiza, Hypericum perforatum, Juglans Regia, Salvia officinalis, Thymus vulgaris, Trigonella foenum-graecum and Viscum album. Benzyl benzoate, sodium and sulphur Flower. Base Lotion.
