Puur Utero composition

Aqua, Women's mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris), Tropic silver (Cimicifuga racemosa), Red sunflower (Echinacea purpurea). Alcohol max 35%.

Dosage and administration

Unless the veterinarian or therapist prescribes otherwise, 1-4 times daily:

If you find it difficult to administer this product several times a day, then once a day or once every 2 days will be sufficient. If doing so, give the maximum dose in one day. The product will still be effective, but the animal might respond a bit slower to the treatment.

Administration

You can put this product inside a plastic syringe and insert it directly into the mouth. Alternatively you can dilute the product with a little wate. It is preferable that you do not administer the product at the same time as the meal because the product works better if it is absorbed by a clean gastric mucosa. If your pet does not like the taste, you can soak some drops into a snack. If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops onto a hot spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. From there you can dilute it with water or milk. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw (but make sure the cat licks the drops off the leg).

Recommendations for use

Puur Utero is given during uterine contractions and when the uterine contents have to be evacuated. To accompany and aid birth, Puur Utero can be administered during birth up to three times, with an hour in between each administration. In the event of failure to achieve an afterbirth, start administering Puur Utero three times during the birth, with a one hour gap between administrations. After the birth it is recommended to administer Puur Utero for the next three days to encourage the cleaning of the uterus.

How long do treatments last?

In an acute situation, the duration of the treatment is relatively short. This may vary from a few days to 3 weeks. When you see an improvement, continue to administer this product for a few more days.

During long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. Upon improvement your pet can be switched to a maintenance dose, which is about half of the usual dosage stated on the packaging. Adjust the dosage based on careful observation of the animal. In the beginning a higher dosage may be required. This product can be safely given at double the recommended dosage. Reduce the dosage gradually to the lowest possible dose. This product can be used indefinitely. It is advisable to insert a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. The stimulus can be reintroduced after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if symptoms worsen.

Not suitable for

Pregnant animals.
