A healthy immune system is one of the essential ingredients for a healthy life. In order to maintain optimal resistance, it is important that horses and ponies get all of the vitamins and minerals that they need. However, sometimes a horse or pony could use an extra helping hand, such as when recovering from illness or when switching from a summer to winter coat. Puur Vita-min contains a balanced combination of all of the vitamins and minerals that contribute to overall health and a healthy immune system. It can be given as a food supplement to older horses or foals (during pregnancy and lactation, only administer following consultation with your veterinarian).

Treatment duration

When used in acute situations, the duration of the treatment is relatively short. This may vary from 2 to 6 weeks. It is recommended that you continue to administer the product even after an improvement has been observed. For long-term discomfort, the effect of Puur Vita-min is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. When you observe an improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose, which is about half of the usual dosage. When dosing this product, pay close attention to your animal's reaction. At the beginning of a treatment, a higher dosage may be required. This product can be safely given in a double dose. Reduce the dosage gradually to the lowest possible dose.

Dosage

The recommended dose is 1 scoop, once daily for horses and 3/4 scoop, once daily for ponies. 1 scoop contains about 10 grams. Puur Vita-min can be given indefinitely and in combination with other natural health products. Moisten the powder to keep it from being blown out of the trough.

Composition

Per 10 grams:

400 mg MSM (Methylsulfonylmetha(a)n(e)), 53.3 mg Calcium (-citr./-phosph.), 154.7 mg Magnesium (-citr.), 53.2 Citrus bioflavenoids, 26.7 mg Potassium (chlor.), 14.4 mg Phosphorus (Calciumphosph.), Bamboo. Excipients: Cellulose.

Vitamins and provitamins: 3.2 mg Vitamin A, 26.7 mg Vitamin B1, 33.2 mg Vitamin B2, 106.7 mg Vitamin B3, 26.7 mg Vitamin B5, 58.7 mg Vitamin B6, 22 ug Biotin, 110 ug Folic acid, 693 ug Vitamin B12, 110 mg Vitamin C, 26.5 ug Vitamin D, 40 mg Vitamin E, 47 mg Choline. 

Trace elements: 5.3 mg Zinc, 5.3 mg Iron, 1.1 mg Manganese, 102 uq Selenium, 28 ug Copper, 1.62 ug Iodine. 

Amino acids: 26.7 mg PABA, 13.3 mg L-lysine HCl.
