Rapide Down Wash

Rapide Down Wash is a great product for cleaning down materials, such as clothing and sleeping bags. This detergent keeps the down fresh and soft and prevents the down from clumping.

Use

Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. For 1 item of clothing, add 50ml of down wash to the wash bowl. For a sleeping bag, add 125ml. Choose a 30° washing cycle. If you want to hand wash the clothing, use 50ml for approximately 25 litres of water. Give the clothing an extra rinse to get all of the detergent out. Spin the material until it is drip dry. Put the dryer on a low temperature and add a couple of tennis balls. This distributes the down evenly. Then allow the material to dry lying down on a drying rack.
