Product Description
Royal Canin Babycat Milk can be used when:
- A litter has too many kittens to nurse
- The mother cat has insufficient or no milk
- A kitten is taken away from its mother
Key features:
- Babycat Milk is an excellent alternative to queen's milk as they have similar characteristics such as a high energy and protein content. The milk has a low lactose (milk sugar) content as kittens can often have problems digesting excess lactose. This is why cow's milk is not a suitable option, as it has a high lactose content.
- This product does not contain starch in order to aid digestion. Newborn kittens have a limited ability to digest starch, as they are not yet producing enough amylase (enzyme needed for starch digestion).
- Due to the addition of fructooligosaccharides (FOS), a well-balanced intestinal flora in the large intestine is promoted.
- Added vitamins and minerals to aid the vital functions of the kitten (brains, nervous system, eyes, heart, etc.).
- The combination of Vitamin E, taurine, and Omega-3-fatty acids support the development of the immune system.
Ingredients:
Milk proteins, oils and fats, lactoserum proteins, minerals, L-arginine, lecithin, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), DL-methionine, taurine, aroma.
Packaging:
3 x 100 grams of milk powder, 1 bottle, 1 nipple, 1 scooper, 1 manual.
- Because of the rapid increase in weight (10 g/day) of growing kittens, it is highly recommended to weigh the kittens daily to check growth.
- After opening the package, the milk powder has a 1 month shelf life.
- Store in a cool, dry environment.
