Is your Labrador Retriever over the age of 5 years? A Labrador is an active and playful dog that often loves something tasty. After the age of 5, the dog may begin to show signs of aging that can change its nutritional needs. The Labrador Retriever Adult 5+ from Royal Canin is specially formulated to provide support in the first phase of the ageing process. This food will help maintain healthy cells with a combination of antioxidants (including vitamins C and E). The food contains an adapted phosphorous level to help support kidney health. Joint support is of great importance in ageing dogs. These dog kibbles contain specific nutrients, including collagen, omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, to provide support for cartilage and keep bones and joints in good condition. The food contains easily digestible proteins, which will relieve the digestive system and allow all nutrients to be absorbed properly. The shape of the Labrador kibble remains intact to reduce gobbling. The kibbles can also be soaked in water if your Labrador has difficulty chewing hard kibbles.
