Specific Crystal Management FCD
The Crystal Management FCD from Specific is complete food for the adult cat, which contributes to the reduction of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. Because of the reduced content of phosphorus and magnesium, the risk of the formation of struvite crystals or stones is reduced.
Properties
- Diet food for adult cats with bladder complaints due to struvite or early calcium oxalate formation
- Contributes to the acidification of the urine
- Contains highly digestible, high quality ingredients
- Added DHA and EPA support the skin, coat and joints
To be used for
- Dissolving already present struvite crystals
- Preventing the formation of new struvite and calcium oxalate crystals
- Reducing urinary tract disorders such as cystitis. If the bladder infection does return, we recommend Specific Crystal Management FCW
- Healthy cats with an increased energy requirement
- Cats with bladder stones and (predisposition to) obesisity, there is the Specific Crystal Management Light FCD-L
Not to be used with
- Other urine acidifiers
- Kittens under 6 months
- Pregnant or lactating females
- Cats with an unbalanced pH balance of the body
- Cats with advanced calcium oxalate, ammonium urate, or cystine urolitiasis. The Specific Kidney Support FKD is recommended for this.
- Metabolic and renal acidosis
Composition
Maize protein, maize, eggs, wheat, pork fat, fish meal, potato protein, rice, minerals, dextrose, ammonium chloride, vitamins and trace elements, cellulose powder, hydrolysed fish protein, fish oil, fermented whey proteins, methionine, psyllium husk, taurine. Antioxidants: EU approved additives: BHA, BHT, propyl gallate. Contains no artificial colors and flavors.
