Specific F/C IN-W Intensive Support has been specially developed to provide initial nutritional support for critical or recovering patients, who are voluntarily ingesting food or for those whose food is being administered via syringe or probe. When the patient recovers and their appetite begins to improve, you can either continue giving Specific F/C IN-W Intensive Support or switch to another Specific diet suitable for recovering pets, such as Specific Digestive Support, Puppy or CAD Active.

Key features:

• Highly digestible ingredients compensate for decreased digestion and ensure optimal nutrient intake during the initial recovery period.
• High concentrations of energy, fat, proteins and other essential nutrients help support the recovery process and ensure that smaller quantities of food need to be consumed. This is an advantage for dogs and cats with an increased nutrient requirement and a reduced food intake.
• Contains beta-1.3/1.6-glucans and elevated levels of omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, selenium, and arginine to support the immune system. Beta-glucans bind to the macrophages in order to make the immune system more alert, thus supporting immune response.
• The high energy density, high concentration of essential nutrients, high digestibility and excellent flavour provides nutritional support to critical and recovering patients.
• The fine and soft structure makes this food suitable for administration via a syringe or probe. For use with a fine probe, you can add 1-2 parts water to this product.

Recommendations:

Daily individual needs may vary depending on factors such as breed, location, season, activity and the severity of the trauma/degree of recovery. It is therefore advisable to monitor the pet's weight and condition, adjusting the amount of food accordingly. It is further recommended that you serve Specific F/C IN-W Intensive Support at room or body temperature, dividing the recommended daily amount over several meals a day.

Ingredients:

Chicken, pork, fish, eggs, potato starch, fish oil, potato proteins, sunflower oil, minerals, psyllium seed husks, taurine, rice, vitamins and trace elements, yeast extract (source of beta-1.3 / 1.6-glucans). Does not contain any artificial antioxidants, colourings or flavourings.
