Trixie Protective Sock has been specifically developed for use after diagnosis and under supervision of a veterinarian. Before you can purchase this product, please confirm the following:
Your pet has been examined by a veterinarian, who has recommend this product after diagnosis.
You understand and agree that you should seek the advice of your veterinarian regarding the use of this product at least every 6 months.
You understand and agree that if your pet's condition should deteriorate in any way, you should immediately seek the advice of your veterinarian.
The Trixie Protective Sock ensures your dog's wound remains clean and dry. You can cut the sock to size to make it fit. The loose velcro straps make it easy to properly put the sock on your dog. This sock is also made of flexible material, so your dog will experience a lot of freedom of movement.

However, after several uses the rubber did tear and had to be replaced. I would advise a more substantial covering over the base covering the dog's pad which might solve the issue.

Dog split his pad and so needed some sort of protection whilst out walking in the mud.
The rubber sock is perfect for this job, but the supplied straps are way too long. By the time you tightened them up, you've virtually run out of velcro to lock it together. Straps should be half the length they are.
Initially was very disappointed when using with just one strap as the sock kept on slipping down but with two straps on didn't need to adjust over an hours walk.

I purchased some dog socks which in the end didn’t match my expectations. However, when I asked for a return due to the small cost of the item I was offered a full refund without the need to return the socks. Thank you so much vetsend! Your help is very much appreciated! Now I don’t need to worry about repacking and posting and I can donate the socks to the animal sanctuary.
