Digestive problems

Digestive problems caused by poor function of the stomach, liver, pancreas or intestine can lead to reduced appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea and weight loss. The liver is the largest organ in the body, and carries out more than 1000 functions. It plays an important role in excreting toxic substances, producing vital blood components and storing vitamins and minerals. In addition, the liver plays a central role in the digestion and conversion of nutrients. When the liver cannot effectively perform some of its vital functions, a liver problem is present.

TROVET Hepatic HLD (Highly Digestible and Liver-Protecting Diet) is a specially formulated diet food, which supports the function of the liver in the digestion and conversion of nutrients. Thanks to the main ingredients of chicken and rice, TROVET Hepatic HLD Dog is also easily digestible, reducing the risk of digestive problems and the chance of food hypersensitivity reactions.

Advice

The recommended period of use is 6 months in case of liver insufficiency, and 3-12 weeks for other digestive problems. TROVET Hepatic HLD Dog is also a complete food, which can be used indefinitely.

Dry food ingredients

Cereals (maize, rice), meat and animal derivatives (chicken, pork), vegetable products (beet pulp), oils and fats (fish oil, lard), minerals, vegetable protein extract (corn gluten), fish and fish derivatives, yeast.

Tip

In cases of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, TROVET Hepatic HLD Dog can be given in combination with Trovet Low Calorie (Lamb) Functional Treats.
