Vectra 3D

Vectra 3D is a flea and tick repellent for dogs that also works against stable flies, sand flies, and mosquitoes. It contains the active ingredients dinotefuran, pyriproxyfen, and permethrin. The unique patented applicator ensures easy administration, partly due to the longer rounded tip. Vectra 3D works quickly and has a so-called 'hot-foot' effect, which repels ticks. The product remains effective for one month (three weeks against the Dermacentor reticulatus tick). Dogs can swim or be washed again 48 hours after administration.

Administration

Part the hair aside and apply the product directly to the intact skin between the shoulder blades. To ensure the product reaches the skin and does not run along the coat, it is sometimes recommended to apply it in several places across the back. For dogs weighing 4-10 kg, administration in 2 spots is recommended.

Another method of administration involves parting the hair at the base of the tail and applying the product directly to the skin in a continuous line from the tail's base, along the middle of the back, all the way to the shoulder blades. This is made possible by the unique shape of the pipette.
