In renal failure, kidney tissue is damaged. A diet that relieves the remaining healthy kidney tissue as much as possible is certainly recommended. Vetality Renal has been specially developed by veterinarians to relieve and support the kidneys. This is the result of a reduced protein and phosphorus content. In addition, the diet contains omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, which contribute to the protection of healthy kidney tissue. The food can also be used to reduce oxalate and urate stone formation and to support liver function in chronic liver insufficiency.

Properties

• Supports the kidney function
• Has a low protein content. The used proteins are high in quality, have a recommend digestibility of 85% and help to reduce strain on the kidneys

Nutritional advice

It is important that your cat stays fit and healthy. A well-balanced diet is of great importance here. Vetality has been developed in collaboration with veterinarians to ensure that the needs of your pet are met as closely as possible. Please contact your vet if you suspect your pet has a health condition and are considering giving him or her food from Vetality.

Duration of use

You can initially give the food for up to 6 months. When the diet is used for kidney insufficiencies, the duration of use is initially a maximum of 4 months. Make sure there is always enough fresh drinking water available. We recommend contacting your vet before use and/or if you want to extend. In case the food works well for your cat, it can also be given for life.
