Product info
Vetality Urinary Adult Cat
At Vetality, the focus is on happy pets and owners. Vetality's special diet foods provide your pet with support where necessary while offering you a fair price. Straight to the point without too much fuss. Doesn't that sound good? Nutrition can play an important role when there are health problems. Vetality Urinary has been specially developed by veterinarians to dissolve bladder stones (struvite). This complete diet food lowers the pH of the urine causing struvite stones to dissolve. It also contains lower levels of minerals (crystal-forming components), which prevents the formation of new bladder stones. With added cranberry.
Also available in Vetality Urinary - Cat wet food.
Properties
- Helps to keep the PH level low (urine acidification) to dissolve struvite crystals and prevent repeated struvite stone formation.
- Ensures undersaturated urine, which reduces the risk of crystal formation.
- The risk of crystal formation is reduced because of the lower concentration of minerals in the food
- Low magnesium content: magnesium is a component of struvite
- With cranberry

The dissolution and prevention of struvite crystals and the reduction of recurrent struvite stone formation.
Do not use with

Nutritional advice
It is important that your cat stays fit and healthy. A well-balanced diet is of great importance here. The type of food you choose depends on many different factors such as age, breed, the amount of exercise your cat gets, and the predisposition to health conditions. It’s great that there is food available that supports your cat if it suffers from health issues like struvite. Vetality has been developed in collaboration with veterinarians to ensure that the needs of your pet are met as closely as possible. Please contact your vet if you suspect your pet has a health condition and are considering giving him or her food from Vetality.
Duration of use
Initially use the food for a maximum of 5 to 12 weeks to dissolve struvite stone. To reduce repeated struvite stone formation, this food may initially be used for a maximum of 6 months. Make sure that there is always enough fresh drinking water available. It is recommended that you contact your vet before use and renewal. With good results, the food can be given for life.
