Nutrition can play an important role when there are health problems. Vetality Weight Management has been specially developed by veterinarians to reduce excess weight and maintain a healthy weight. The food contains a lower energy value than regular food and supports the natural ability to burn fat. A sufficiently high protein content compensates for the reduced energy content and ensures the maintenance of muscle mass. An extra high fibre content contributes to the feeling of satiety. Because the food has a low carbohydrate content, it can also be used in diabetes (diabetes mellitus).

Duration of use

The recommended duration of use in overweight pets is until the desired body weight is reached. To maintain the desired body weight, this food can be given for life. The recommended duration of use in case of diabetes mellitus is initially a maximum of six months. It is recommended that you contact your vet before use and renewal.

For example, some dogs are sensitive to certain proteins and/or grains, so a hypoallergenic diet is recommended.
