Veterinary HPM Clinical Diet - Weight Loss
Virbac Veterinary HPM Clinical Diet - Weight Loss is a diet food from Virbac specially designed for overweight dogs or dogs predisposed to weight gain. This diet can also be used in dogs suffering from conditions where a limited intake of fat is required, such as chylothorax or hyperlipidaemia.
Weight Loss & Diabetes - 1
- Reduction of overweight (more than 30% overweight)
- Regulation of glucose supply (diabetes mellitus): in obesity
- Colitis responsive fibre diet, constipation
- Abnormalities in lipid metabolism (hyperlipidemia)
Weight Loss & Control - 2
- Reduction of overweight (at less than 30% overweight)
- Regulation of glucose supply (diabetes mellitus): only in the case of normal body weight
- Weight control after weight loss
- Colitis responsive to high-fibre diet, constipation
Not suitable for:
Conditions or periods in which a high energy intake is required, such as growth, pregnancy and lactation. Conditions in which a low fibre intake is required, such as megacolon.

Weight Loss & Diabetes: Dehydrated protein (pork and poultry), lignocellulose, potato starch*, hydrolysed animal protein (pork and poultry), bean hulls, animal fat, mineral salts, linseed, beet pulp, psyllium fibre, fructo-oligosaccharides, chitosan, pasteurised lactobacilus acidophilus, chondrotin sulphate.
