Inflammation of the foreskin in dogs

Inflammation of the foreskin is a hygiene problem usually caused by bacteria. This can cause dripping and staining of your furniture as well as a bad odour. In some cases, a white mucous is discharged. It may also be green or yellow or viscous or watery. In the beginning it will only drip during exertion, but later when the dog is at rest too. The amount of discharge varies for each individual but excessive secretion is a hygiene problem. If it is not treated, the condition may become chronic, and it then becomes more difficult to treat.

Use:

Use the spout of the bottle but do not insert too deep. Liquid is distributed by massaging it around. After applying a small amount of the liquid into the opening of the foreskin, it will turn from pink to yellow. Continue to add more liquid until it remains pink. When removing the bottle, keep squeezing it and release once it has been removed. This prevents the inserted liquid from being sucked back into the bottle. It is best to administer this treatment in a tiled room for ease of cleaning. After application, wash the spout with water. Treatment should be repeated once a month.

The colour change factor is important in determining when to continue or stop applying Veti-Fom foreskin cleaner. If it is yellow, continue. If it is pink, stop.
