Vetplus Cobalin
Vetplus Cobalin contains Cobalamin (vitamin B12) and Folate (vitamin B9) and these support protein metabolism, DNA repair and cell growth and division for dogs and cats. Deficiency of these vitamins can lead to problems such as anaemia (anaemia), nerve problems, diarrhoea, weight loss and fatigue.
Vitamin B12 and vitamin B9 are not produced in the body and must be absorbed with the diet. Deficiency rarely, if ever, occurs due to a dietary deficiency. Usually, there is a problem at the level of the pancreas or small intestine that results in the vitamins not being absorbed or being absorbed poorly.
A vitamin B12 deficiency can also be caused by chronic diarrhoea. With chronic diarrhoea, it is therefore wise to also give vitamin B12 for intestinal support. Persistent diarrhoea thus always calls for a determination in the blood of vitamin B12 and B9.
