Flea problems

Fleas are difficult to control. This is because only 1% of fleas are on the pet. The remaining 99% are on their bed, the carpet, and in cracks and crevices. Fleas reproduce rapidly, so an infestation can easily occur.

Indoor-X Flea Spray

Flea control often fails because there is insufficient focus on the environment around the pet. Simply treating the dog or cat is not enough. To get fleas out of the house, it must be treated too. Now you can use Indoor-x Flea Spray to help. The spray combats fleas, flea larvae and other crawling insects in the house.

To prevent a flea infestation

Virbac Indoor-X Flea Spray kills fleas, flea larvae and other insects in the home for 4-6 weeks after treatment. With Indoor-X Flea Spray, a flea infestation can be prevented by spraying the home, for example, just before going on holiday. If there has already been a flea infestation, treat the environment once a month for three months. Then treat four times a year to prevent further infestations.

Effective control

Before application, make sure all pets and children do not have access to the room/area that you are going to treat and vacuum it. Use the spray from a distance of approximately 20cm (without the nozzle) and use a waving motion to cover the area until it is visibly moist. Don't forget to treat ALL areas that fleas and eggs could be hidden, including under the fridge, radiators and other accessories. The spray should not be used to treat very large surface areas such as the walls or floors but as a "targeted treatment" of areas that animals come into frequent contact with.

Keep the doors closed for half an hour after spraying and then ventilate the rooms well for at least an hour. After spraying, the substances will be active for 4-6 weeks. During this time, you should try and use as little detergents and other cleaning agents on the treated surfaces as possible. This will help prolong the working.

Using a light application, the spray will cover an area of approximately 120 m². The aerosol also comes with an additional nozzle which is 14 cm long, for precision spraying. Using this nozzle, cracks and crevices are easier to treat, so the fleas, flea larvae and other crawling insects can be more effectively combated.

Please note: It is important that children under the age of 4 do not come into contact with treated surfaces during this time, as they may ingest the pesticide through hand to mouth contact. Do not use directly on your pet, in or near aquariums, on cooking appliances, or on plants. You can cover any aquariums or bird cages that are in the area. Do not smoke, eat or drink while using the spray.
