Vitaminthe
Vitaminthe from Virbac is a broad spectrum worming paste for dogs and cats, effective against roundworms, whipworms, hookworms and tapeworms in dogs and cats.
Ingredients
Niclosamide is specifically effective against tapeworms, and oxibendazole combats both adult and larval stages of roundworms, whipworms and hookworms.
Safety
The combination of both active ingredients in the paste makes Vitaminthe suitable for use in dogs and cats of all ages, and it can also be administered without danger to animals that are lactating.
Maximum effectiveness
Vitaminthe is hardly absorbed by the body, resulting in optimum concentration in the pet's gastrointestinal tract. The paste is therefore most effective on a gastrointestinal tract that is as empty as possible.
Prevent re-contamination!
Tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum) can be transmitted by fleas. Re-infestation is prevented by simultaneously applying effective flea control with the wormer.
Dosage: 1 ml per 2 kg of body weight.
Box with one 10 ml syringe1 dose increment on the syringe = 1 ml. Administer 1 dose increment per 2 kg of body weight to your dog or cat. The 10 ml syringe makes it easy to measure the dosage for dogs and cats weighing less than 10kg.
Box with 25 ml syringe
If you want to give Vitaminthe to your puppy or kitten, you can use the Dosing Kit for puppies/kittens to make dosing this wormer easier. The Dosing Kit is sold separately and only suitable for the 10ml syringe. Be sure that the de-wormer is at room temperature before you give it to your pet. Please note: The Dosing Kit for Puppies or Kittens does not contain the Vitaminthe worming paste.1 dose increment on the syringe = 5 ml. Administer 1 dose increment per 10 kg of body weight to the dog (or cat). The 25 ml syringe makes it easy to measure the dosage for dogs (and cats) weighing more than 10kg.
Please note: If you choose to use the 25ml syringe for a dog or cat weighing less than 10 kg, it is important to accurately measure how much Vitaminthe is administered to your pet!
